We have trucks in Mountain View, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Campbell, San Jose and San Mateo! As a driver, you will deliver from one of these locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver delicious Zume pizzas to private residences, businesses, and events

• Maintain best food quality while driving on deliveries

• Complete side work while not on deliveries: restock supplies, complete training, clean work stations, etc.

• Give Zume customers a best-in-class hospitality and customer service experience

• Assist in the day to day operations of the truck

• Preparation of orders: cooking, cutting, and packaging

• Transfer orders and needed add-ons to Pielots for delivery

• Cleaning and sanitary maintenance of Zume truck, ensuring proper food safety protocols

• Assist Captain in supervision and communication of and with Pielots

• Operating equipment onboard Zume trucks as needed

• Drive and operate Zume delivery vehicles during day and evening shifts

• Assist in loading and unloading and cleaning of the truck

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the US and 18+ years old

• Driven for a minimum of 2 years

• Have a valid US Driver’s License and insurance

• Have a clean driving record

• Able to use a personal vehicle for all shifts (fuel reimbursement 54.5 cents/mile)

• Available to work at least 20 hours a week total, including some nights and weekends

• Certified CA Food Handler (We provide training for those who do not already have certification)

• Must meet insurance qualifications to drive company vehicles based on motor vehicle record

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Constant physical activity, including prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, high dexterity maneuvers

• Ability to work in tight spaces and conditions that frequently vary in temperature

• Experience in fast paced high demand environment preferred but not required
