The Director of Banquets will oversee the success of all banquet events and activities including supervise room set-ups, services, schedules and cleanup of all banquet functions, order supplies. Oversee collection of payment and ultimately responsible for monthly inventories and par levels. Manage department within budget. Analyze financial and operating information, forecasting revenues and expenses. Manage Team Members according to Davidson values including recruiting, selection, orientation, training and developing Team Members. Ensure that labor costs are aligned with the forecast, know food preparation and service, and have knowledge of physical capabilities of banquet space.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous supervisory/management experience and skills
  • Prefer 2 years banquet management experience
  • Previous hotel food and beverage experience preferred
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Requires computer skills
  • Strong business communication skills
