Job Description:
CTL Engineering is a full service consulting engineering, testing, inspection, and analytical laboratory services company. Established in 1927 and formerly known as Columbus Testing Laboratory, the company was established as a privately held independent engineering and testing laboratory serving the local community. They have since expanded to several locations across the Midwestern United States and even India.
CTL Engineering is looking for 4 construction materials testers to join their team immediately. Below is the job duties and requirements for the position.
- Perform testing and inspection of construction activities, including concrete, soils, masonry, asphalt, aggregate and reinforcing steel
- Review project drawings and specifications,
- Report test results and time sheet to the Project Manager in a timely fashion.
- The candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills, and must have knowledge of basic computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Experience and certifications are preferred, but not required. Such certifications may include NICET, ACI Field, ODOT, NETTCP and/or ICC.
- Training will be provided.
It is required that the candidate has a valid driver's license and clean driving record, and may be required to pass a background check for security clearance.
