Primary Responsibilities:

• Clearly translate data points into easily digestible presentations, insights, recommendations and actions
• Assist Manager of Analytics to construct dashboards, and reporting instruments to inform better business decisions and optimization recommendations utilizing Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, CRM, Quantum Metrics, other web analytics tools
• Manage data pulls of varying size and complexity ensuring accuracy of data
• Work with internal stakeholders to establish KPIs and related metrics for new products, site enhancements, and site redesigns
• Proactively analyze the website(s) for areas of opportunity and actionable recommendations
• Stay current with the latest developments with Analytics platforms and techniques to help our team stay on the cutting edge of digital/web analytics and offline data analytics
• Develop a thorough understanding of the data environment - data collection, data sources, data accessibility and tools
• Develop automated daily, weekly and monthly reporting through BI tools including Excel/Tableau to assist business owners to make data-informed decisions

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

• Highly adaptable, with a positive mindset and strong sense of accountability
• High degree of critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, ability to learn and apply new concepts & technologies in a wide variety of analytic, marketing, and customer-centric disciplines
• Resilient personality and comfort acting as an agent for change
• BS/MS preferably in statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, actuarial sciences, systems engineering, information management or business/marketing related fields, or equivalent industry experience
• Developed understanding of common web/e-commerce metrics and definitions
• 2-3 years hands-on experience with digital analytics and visualization programs, specifically: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics & Tableau
• Strongly prefer a background with programming classes such as SQL, R, Java, Python, C/C++

Desired Skills

• Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint is required to assimilate new ideas and information quickly
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, drive change, and collaborate effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities at once and shift priorities seamlessly
• Excellent communication & organization skills
• Ability to work through problems and reach a workable solution
• Strong aptitude in math and web analytics
• Understanding of big data tools and technology (Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark)
