Responsibilities

* Stay abreast of all relevant media opportunities and remain familiar with publications, blogs, and influencers

* Understand current trends, both brand and industry, and develop proactive pitches around them

* Develop creative marketing ideas that will result in editorial coverage

* Strategize blogger partnerships around product activations to elevate brand awareness

* Monitor editorial coverage and develop monthly reports

* Own sample request process, exhibiting organization and tracking of sample locations

* Develop event ideas that will drive store traffic

* Manage event calendar and stay abreast of dates, changes, and deadlines

* Communicate effectively with store managers and leadership on event needs and expectations

* Brief marketing assets for events, meeting with Web, Copy, and Design to communicate event goals, deadlines and expectations

* Track and analyze event results

* Manage Marketing Assistant, helping to prioritize weekly to-dos

* Report to Sr. Marketing Manager, managing up and communicating project updates

* Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners, mining what you need for success

* Exhibit a high sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

* Showcase strong organizational skills

* Maintain positive, professional communication

* Prioritize workload, and delegate appropriately

* Understand brand's objectives and goals; successfully execute to meet those goals

* Understand team members' responsibilities and works to support them

* Display the ability to make decisions independently, as well as an understanding of when to ask for support

* Maintain a strong work ethic, remain proactive with issues, develop a sound solution through collaboration

* Continually bring new ideas to the table

* Keep a finger on the pulse of the industry and what competitors are doing

* Build relationships and gain an understanding of the future of the brand

Qualifications

* Minimum of 4 years' PR and marketing experience

* Bachelor's degree required

* Passion for fashion; bridal industry interest a major +

* Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills

* A knack for prioritizing projects and multi-tasking

* Ability to meet deadlines & detail-oriented

* Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Communications, or a related field.
