The Comcast Technology Internship Program is an 11-weeksummer programdesigned to identify high-caliber talent to build our organization with the best and the brightest students.

Over the course of the summer, your experience will include:

Comcast Security Architecture, Identity & Authentication (SAIA) team is part of the Product and Information Security team at Comcast. SAIA is composed of a team of transformative security professionals expanding in multiple directions and help enterprise services, and, most of all, in the way we think. Here, innovation isn't simply about defending our network and systems from different risks, it's about transforming the cybersecurity efforts across our company.

We delve into privileged accounts and secrets which are everywhere that make headlines in company breaches (and many more that don't), as well as break into applications and systems to identify security gaps for our clients. We help our customers to secure these accounts by password management and providing secure authentication solutions.

We have the expertise and experience in Identity & Access Management. This is our focus. You will be working on challenging technical projects that make an impact and improve security posture of the company. You'll be visible. You'll be exposed to many different environments and technologies. You'll learn from our best security practices for authentication and access management team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Meetings with Device owners, and Support Groups to understand, and document the Use Case requirements and assist in designing the groups and safes
  • Analyze PAM Threat Analytics Capabilities and run proof of concept
  • Demo of the key capabilities of the solution
  • Build internal scripts, tools and methodologies to enhance our capabilities
  • Metrics gathering and automation
  • Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences
  • Work with security and IT operations at client locations to implement remediation plans

Job Specification:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science & Technologyor a related field
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Technical skills in at least two of the following areas:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS OR Linux servers and networking protocols
  • Basic knowledge of tools used for Identity Management and Password Management
  • Knowledge of application testing and network security concepts
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Ruby, Python and Java
  • A technical security-related internship or other professional experience
  • Demonstrates solid decision-making skills
  • Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in group settings.
  • Strong interest in the technology, telecommunications and media industries
  • Current and future authorization to work in the United States of America
