Full Time Backroom/Receiving Supervisor

We are seeking a Full Time, Hourly, Backroom/Receiving Supervisor position for our Augusta, ME store. This permanent position could lead to growth and requires previous retail supervisory experience and a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Prepares backroom for receiving process

·  Supervises and participates in unloading the truck

·  Meets and exceeds productivity standards for unloading the truck and processing the merchandise

·  Assesses Stocking Plan needs with available Stocking Crew

·  Assigns stocking jobs according to priorities and skill set

·  Directs stocking and preprocessing activities

·  Maintains stockroom organization

·  Executes Stocking Plans

·  Calculates Productivity results

·  Evaluates effectiveness of the stocking plan

·  Discusses the results with Management

·  Ensures a high level of customer service on the Sales Floor.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

    Must be 18 years or older and have sufficient availability to work required schedules

    Previous Retail Supervisory Experience in the following:

    ·        Merchandising

    ·        Stocking Process

    ·        Preprocessing

    ·        Pending Merchandise

    ·        Equipment/Tools

    ·        Unloading a Truck

    ·        Stockroom organization
 
    Ability to understand, speak, read, and write effectively in the English language and communicate effectively with customers, associates, supervisors, and managers
    Ability to continually stand; regularly bend, twist, stoop, climb (step-stool/ladder) and reach; regularly handles, process, lift and push product and equipment up to 30 lbs., occasionally handles, process, lift and push product and equipment up to 50 lbs.
