In thisrole you will be a critical part of the Medtronic Spine Training and Education team. You will work on Mazor robotics training materials, faculty development and planning and training delivery forour Medtronic field personnel and customers.

A Day in the Life

Calendar& Budget Management

  • You will determine training sitelocations and determine training dates
  • Secure lab settings based onvariety of factors
  • Manage training budget

Training Materials

  • Transition existing Mazor training materials into Medtronic approvedmaterials
  • Create new materials for upcoming launches
  • Manage quality control process for converted and new materials

Faculty Development and Planning

  • Develop a list of KOL/faculty
  • Communicate and engage KOLs to become faculty
  • Use your strategic experience to plan KOL usage based on needs ofbusiness.

Deliver Training

  • Once comfortable with the technology, you will lead training events
  • Provide additional Team Support during events
  • Travel requirement: 40-50%

Additional responsibilities may includethe following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs forfield support personnel and customers.
  • Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs;prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology;and coordinates the development of training aids.
  • Ensures training program(s) meets company and customer objectives.
  • Maintains communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training
  • May utilize trainers with technical expertise
  • Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2 years of experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Mazor robotics highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Effective instructional design skills
  • Experience in operating room and surgical robotics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive,enthusiastic attitude
  • Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and buildstrong working relationships
