JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs duties required to source and deliver qualified, diverse candidates in the recruitment of prospective employees. Must be able to develop and establish effective relationships with hiring managers and candidates including ability to influence the staffing results. Knowledgeable of compensation philosophy and practice including salary negotiation and presentation of offers. Must know employment law and sourcing tools for active and passive candidates. Must understand and implement Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action, including outreach to the local community. Will facilitate transfers and redeployment or outplacement. Must have business acumen and knowledge of the business. Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other pertinent data for classification, selection and referral. Responsible for providing applicant with information on the company. Responsible for collecting, analyzing and acting on metrics. Strongly prefer experience with applicant tracking and/or recruiting management systems. SCOPE: Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Administers and recommends changes to company policies that are directly related to the job. Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives. Ability to source and screen candidates using recruiting management systems and third party databases. Must be able to source passive candidates as well as active candidates and use technology to find the candidates showing skills and abilities required by the organization.

PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

IMPACT: Contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives. Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause significant delays in schedules.

LIAISON: Regularly interacts with internal and external customers, recruitment sources, administrative departments, functional peer groups and senior management. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules. F

REEDOM TO ACT: Work is accomplished without considerable direction. Exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignments. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments. May provide guidance to staffing assistants.

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY: Involves comprehensive knowledge of this administrative field and the ability to complete difficult assignments. Analytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as the ability to operate independently.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
