A Tier I automotive supplier is TRIPLING production in 2019 and needs to hire 2 new Process Engineers to keep up with the growth!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is a must
  • Experience in production area, tooling design management.
  • Proven technical skills on product and process.
  • Ability to manage functionally the plant launch team.
  • Proven experience using common continuous improvement tools (i.e. Six sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)
  • Solid understanding and ability to use multiple problem solving tools such as: Fishbone and Ishikawa Diagrams, 8Ds, Is/Is Not, 5 Why's, etc.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Technical interface with the customer and the suppliers for his/her perimeter.
2) Participate in APQP meetings, design reviews, CFT, etc…
3) Define and manage the plant launch team required resources in plant functions.
4) Lead plant launch visual management for his/her programs.
5) Plans, coordinates and directs quality programs and activities designed to ensure quality control and quality assurance of the production of products consistent with established budgets and standards.
6) Administration of the PPAP/APQP process, including supplier approval and customer defined submissions.
7) Directly involved in all new model launches, all activities associated with engineering changes and implementation.
8) Responsible for the on-time successful launch of all new programs to ensure compliance to customer APQP requirements; interface with Program Management.
9) Maintain PCR system
