We are looking for a Quote Specialist in Fort Worth!
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience
- 2+ years of clerical work in a manufacturing environment
- Order/quote processing/tracking in a manufacturing environment
Job Description:
- Responsible for growing production and maintaining relationships in assigned territories.
- Supporting customer inquiry and requests by being a single point of contact.
- Ability to field customer complaints and issues utilizing knowledge of internal network and resources.
- Turning orders, confirmations, and receiving approvals, in a short time frame.
- Reconciling purchase orders and processing miscellaneous orders.
- Reviewing and following up on outstanding quotes to obtain purchase orders
- Continually gaining further knowledge with extensive product and industry training.
-Receive quote requests and enter in system
-Receive PO's, validate for accuracy and enter order into ERP system
-Provide shipping and tracking information to customer
-Download PO's from customer sites and validate for accuracy
-Capture and report segment KPIs
-creating and maintaining electronic job files
-Distributing faxes and email correspondence from the general mail box.
-Up-sale responsibilities
Performance Metrics: Individual will be expected to process 15-20 quotes a day. They will take about 30-40 calls a day and have upwards of that in emails. They need to know how to prioritize based on the urgency of call/ email.
