Headway Workforce Solutions, in partnership with our client, an energy industry leader, is currently seeking a Machine Operator for a contract opportunity in Winsted, CT.
Set-up, operate and maintain at least three families of process equipment independently meeting both safety and production requirements. Maintain all quality and production records and assist with training as required.
Job Responsibilities
• Assist in productivity and throughput (flow) in all assigned cells
• Assist supervisor and Production Control to manage daily output requirements
• Maintain 6S and other area housekeeping standards
• Execute clean-up shift procedures
• Maintain visual control boards and hour X hour charts
• Participate and actively promote continuous improvement activities
• Follow policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook
• Actively participate, promote and comply with all Quality and EH&S programs and policies
• Achieve and maintain certified status
• Maintain acceptable attendance
• Perform all other job duties as assigned
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm ~ These are 2nd shift positons but individual will be training on 1st shift for up to 3 months before transferring to 2nd shift.
Pay: Up to $16-17 per hr. based on experience
