About this job

$14/hr

After training period, opportunity for bonus ranging from $100-850/month

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with one late night per week until 7pm

*very flexible on which night per week that is*

-Calls are for Medical Plan Department

-Will have about 200 calls per day, inbound and outbound with approximately 40-50 contacts per day and the other calls will be leaving voicemails

-Setup payment arrangements on medical accounts according to client guidelines.

-Work off a dialer system daily

-Will work in numerous client systems, checking for insurance coverage, charge information, etc.

-Patient Service Representatives take insurance information and identify patients who may need financial assistance.


-Most calls are friendly and will not receive very many angry calls from patients.

-Will work in Epic and Meditech (training for both soft-wares)

Work in a small, cubicle environment with a team of 5 people.

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum 2 years experience in a health care setting OR a call center setting

Minimum 35 words per minute with 90% accuracy
