Designer - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently hiring a an Architect for a Architecture company in Royal Oak, Michigan.

We are looking for an entry-level designer that is aspiring to move into an Assistant Project Manager role in 2-3 years.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will be responsible for assisting in the production of detailed schematic designs.
• Will be taking direction and designs from engineers and will document existing building conditions, and draw out dimensions, elevations, & measurements for the builders.
• Working heavily in AutoCAD 2D (2018), SketchUp and periodically BIM (will train).
• 15-20% travel (once every few months for a week).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors in Architecture, Architecture & Engineering, or related degree
• 0-5 years of professional drafting/design experience in AutoCAD 2D
