QA Analyst START ASAP-$17/hr

A small Des Moines food manufacturer is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst! Would be working in a production environment going between two buildings, collecting and delivering samples.

• Food safety and quality for the plant; auditing and testing under GMP and HACCP regulations and compliance.
• Collecting samples for monitoring and testing purposes from the plant. Including measurements, weight and moisture of samples, and some micro swabs
• Documentation of all testing results and data collection.
• Testing of samples in the laboratory and swabbing equipment and environment.
• Other QA and laboratory duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 year degree in the life sciences (Food Science preferred)
• Experience with GMP's or HACCP is preferred

Standard work week is Monday - Friday 4 am - noon, OT may be required
