Home Instead Senior Care of Northeastern, CT is looking for a team member who, guided by an understanding of our mission and our business, will be responsible for two critical components: 1) networking and home care sales duties, including researching and pursuing new referral sources and enhancing and maintaining relationships with existing referral sources and 2) responding to all inquiries for home care, including conducting client care consultations and earning the the trust and business of prospective clients. This individual will use the consultative sales approach to determine referral sources' and prospective clients' needs and will demonstrate how Home Instead Senior Care provides desired solutions. Results for all efforts are reported to Manager on a weekly basis, discussing successes and opportunities, and demonstrating documented progress and inquiry production in sales and networking areas, as well as successes in converting inquiries for services to clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for researching and developing client relationships and producing referrals performs all phases of sales process, including preparation and documentation of cold calls, follow-up calls, diagnosis of referral source and client needs, recommendation of appropriate Home Instead® services and additional community resources, maintaining and nurturing existing referral accounts, including follow-up, as necessary.
- Achieve inquiry generation objectives for our office with the primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share. Target accounts include, but are not limited to, hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, funeral homes, etc.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Home Instead Senior Care brand. Effectively presents Home Instead Senior Care marketing materials and services to referral providers, including 1:1 meetings, as well as planning, arranging and conducting formal group presentations to referral providers.
- Respond to all inquiries for services with the goal of conducting care consultations and earning the trust and business of prospective clients.
- Work closely with Service Coordinator and Client Care Coordinator to ensure optimum client and CAREGiver experience.
- On-boarding of all new clients through first 30 days of services, including frequent communication and trouble-shooting as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls presentations closed sales and follow-up activities within the assigned territory, including the use of software to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
- Develop a database of qualified leads from referrals through face-to-face cold calling on referral providers, email, telephone and Web.
- Participate in various PR strategies.
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work experience (5+ years)
- Experience with senior population and health care (non-medical and/or medical) highly desirable
- Related business or sales experience (consultative sales a plus)
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be able to work in the field, and be insurable
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
