Company: A local Charlotte Steel company is looking for an experienced Yard Forklift Operator. They have been in Charlotte and the industries for 60+ years and are continuously growing.
Job Description:
- Assisting with cleaning and related duties to maintain plant operations
- Operating a forklift in the movement of bins and equipment
- Assisting with yard/facility cleanup and maintenance
- Following all safety guidelines and protocol, including wearing all PPE
- Working inside, outside, in dusty/dirty conditions, and around noise
- Successful previous forklift experience
- Ability to be flexible to changing work conditions and assignments
- Experience working in steel industry is a plus!
- High School diploma or equivalent
