QA/QC Engineer Level 1 - Full-time / Part-time

This is a Supplier Quality position and most of the work is about coordinating and tracking activities with other engineers within and outside of supplier quality. This role Could support any product within Rockwell. This position is more focused on the design and development of the product and in making sure that suppliers and parts will be qualified before launching the product.

Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products.

Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations.

Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary.

Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed.

Ensures compliance with internal and external specifications and standards such as ISO regulations.

Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.

Qualifications:

• Typically requires 0-2 years of experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Quality, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience with supplier quality and experience with new product introduction, supplier and part qualification
• Customer interaction experience around a product
