About this job
Immediate need for a MEP designer with Architectural/Mechanical engineering degree.
Successful candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD MEP or Revit MEP (Revit Preferred), must have MEP experience and is willing to grow towards becoming a PM with-in the company.
Duties Include:
- Perform all engineering analysis required and develop quality design for projects
- Work closely with other engineers, designers, and technicians to meet deadlines and client expectations
- Manage shop drawings and submittals
- Provide construction administration
- Assistant with project management on select projects
- Manage project issues and resolutions
- Provide feedback to Chief Engineer on standards and best practices
- Provide our clients with quality service and on-time project delivery
Will be starting on federal/military projects but work portfolio will include a variety of different types of projects. Majority is commercial retail, health care, and some multi-family.
Very relaxed work environment. Culture is laid back. Not a high production work load, but focusing on first time quality.
Team has about 30-35 employees in this particular office. Flexible work schedule.
