BASIC PURPOSE: Reconcile fuel supplier invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments are made.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Payable match gas, diesel, and bio-fuel supplier invoices in SRA– verifying that the supplier billed Musket correctly by reviewing pricing, product, and taxes.  Making necessary corrections to the movement document when needed.
  • Ensure accuracy of supplier invoice and internal data before processing invoices 
  • Calculate adjustments in system as needed.
  • Proactively contact suppliers to request credits for incorrect billing, missing invoices, etc.
  • Work frequently with other departments and outside companies to obtain necessary information to payable match fuel invoices accurately.
  • Make updates to intercompany diversion database to assist Fuel Tax Department in processing returns timely and accurately.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
  • Assist supervisor with special projects.
  • Assist in updating weekly metrics for the department.
  • Other duties assigned as needed

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • High school Diploma or equivalent required
    • Some college a plus
  • Experience:
    • Experience in analyzing and/or auditing large amounts of data and data entry. Fuel experience a plus.

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SolArc Right Angle knowledge, and Accounting knowledge
    • Soft Skills: Excellent oral and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, ability to multi task, team player, and keen attention to detail
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
    • Possible evening/weekend work
