About this job

Primary responsibility is for international customer care with a supporting role for Domestic accounts. Effective communication is essential in coordinating internal activities and external customers to ensure customers' expectations are met in a timely and accurate fashion. Duties include entering orders, processing order changes, answering customer inquiries, quoting lead times, expediting orders and advising carrier services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for all International Distributor and Sales Offices.
  • Provide day-to-day problem resolution; effectively communicating by phone and email.
  • Manage incoming email via the International mailbox, providing timely responses.
  • Coordinate information between customers and internal departments (Engineering, Purchasing, Scheduling, & Production Planning) to meet customer expectations.
  • Act as site lead for International guests during factory tours and performance testing.
  • Perform total order processing to facilitate accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Work closely with Engineering on special order requirements, coordinating with all essential parties to ensure order accuracy.
  • Work with internal management & personnel to expedite orders at customer's request.
  • Work closely with logistics and freight forwarders for international shipping.
  • Process credit and debit memos as needed.
  • Communicate empathy for the customers' situation and tactfully address their concerns.
  • Strong working relationship and interface with cross-functional departments.
  • Experience with Export Documentation (Commercial Invoice, SLI, Country of Origin, HTS Classification, etc.).
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

  • Skills and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • 1 - 3 years' experience in customer service / sales / marketing environment.
  • Experience in international customer service/ export compliance/sales.
  • Spanish-speaking a plus but not required.
  • Proficient in use of MS Office products. SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize, exercise good judgment, handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well in an energetic team environment.
  • Displays a pleasant, friendly style, and a professional image.
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical standards.
  • Experience in working with people at all levels of an organization. Designs, manufactures, and services innovative products and solutions for the toughest filtration, separation, flow and water management challenges in agriculture, aquaculture, food service, food and beverage processing, swimming pools, water supply and disposal, and a variety of industrial application.
