Composite Technician Level II / III - Full-time / Part-time

LARGE/GROWING AEROSPACE COMPANY hiring Level II & III Composite Technicians. These are direct placement, long-term positions.

Job Description:

• The candidates are responsible for the assembly of composite molds.
• The candidates will be fabricating composite parts using pre preg and dry lay up kits, vacuum bagging, sealing the composite parts with epoxies, be familiar with multi directional orientation or ply orientation.
• The molds require 100 lay ups to complete and blueprints and directions for completion are provided.
• All parts go through visual and dimensional inspections and must meet all quality standards

Qualifications:

Composite Tech 2- $22-$25/hr.

• 1-3 years experience previous experience and knowledge of composite materials, preferably dry lay up.
• Mechanically inclined and previous mechanical assembly experience.
• Able to read blueprints, discuss SOP's and be able to communicate job functions effectively.

Composite Tech 3-4: $26-$28/hr.

• Well versed in dry lay up requirements, working with pre preg materials, performing ply or multi-directional orientations, performing at least 50 lay ups.
• Candidate needs a minimum of 5 years experience performing lay up work.

Openings & Schedules:

5 x 2nd shift openings on 9/80 schedule

(2:30PM - 12:00PM + O/T)

• Sunday - Thursday with every other Thursday off or
• Tuesday - Saturday with every other Tuesday off

5 x 3rd shift openings on 3rd shift

(7:00PM - 5:00AM)

• Monday - Friday with every other Friday off
