Graystone Consulting, a business of Morgan Stanley within the Wealth Management division, is a global leader in the institutional advisory business, serving a wide variety of institutional clients including: foundations & endowments, corporate pension plans, 401K plans, Taft-Hartley funds, healthcare funds and public pension plans. Each of our 57 teams across the country is led by an Institutional Consulting director, who brings more than an average of 20 years industry experience.

Position Summary:

The role will work with Graystone's home office investment team, reporting to Graystone's Chief Investment Officer. Duties will include:

* Oversight of procedures involved in initial approval and ongoing monitoring of investment strategies covered by Graystone teams

* Communication with financial consultants and internal partners regarding onboarding and ongoing maintenance of covered investment strategies

* Review and edit investment manager assessments written by Graystone analysts to ensure standards of quality as well as appropriate investment arguments are being met

* A high level of enthusiasm for investing, and a willingness to learn about and evaluate investment strategies

* Strong demonstrated writing skill

* Strong verbal and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with financial consultants, internal business partners, and outside investment managers

* Highly detail-oriented with the ability to leverage available resources to work efficiently

* Self-starter capable of solving problems and managing projects from start to finish. Must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a will to succeed

* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

* Ability to work in a team environment and partner with multiple individuals across various groups

* Series 7, 66, and 24 preferred
