Manage the life cycle planning and optimization of DISH IT costs through asset selection, operation, refreshment, migration, retirement, and disposal; oversee all activities that optimize the value, cost, and risk of DISH software asset life cycles while aligning to the business requirements; support the legal staff to develop and maintain processes necessary to identify current and emerging software asset life cycle costs and risks to the organization; lead the day-to-day management of the core Software Asset Management (“SAM”) team, including staffing, budgeting, and other relevant management functions; supervise 1 Business Analyst II; manage software vendor audits and manage software license validation requests in consultation with the relevant vendor and procurement managers.

 

Req’s: Master’s in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Management, or closely related plus 2 years of experience in job offered or as Sr. Business Analyst; OR a combination of a Bachelor’s in same fields plus 5 years’ progressive, post-baccalaureate experience; or any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience. Requires 2 years of experience using ServiceNow IT Service Management, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Process Workflow Designing, Decision Tree Analysis, Business Process Redesign, Net Present Value Analysis, and Spreadsheet Modelling.
