Maintenance Supervisor

Aerotek is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to place on site with one of our clients in Chicago, IL.

Job Description:

-Support production in reducing and eliminating equipment / tooling downtime and scrap utilizing good analytical methodologies.
-Supervise daily activities of both shifts (planning and scheduling), utilizing a positive team atmosphere, which promotes high moral. -Develop skilled and disciplined team members. Conduct employee performance reviews.
-Maintain and monitor a healthy and safe work environment.
-Establish projects, plans and spare parts to ensure equipment and tooling is maintained at or less than 30 minutes of mean time to repair (MTTR). Establish and maintain disaster recovery plans for current equipment, tooling and projects.
-Perform hands on duties, as required. Maintain and monitor manufacturing plant facilities, inside and outside.
-Support, maintain and report on / for maintenance budgets.

Requirements for the Maintenance Supervisor include but not limited to;

-Minimum 2-year degree in one or more of the following: Maintenance, Electronics, Mfg., Industrial,
Mechanical, Supervision and 4 years of experience in Automotive Industrial Maintenance or an equivalent
combination of education and experience.
-Minimum 1 year of experience in a maintenance supervision position.
-Good analytical skills.
-Technical understanding of machine and there components.
-Other skills; welding, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, PLC, conveyors.

-Proficient with Microsoft Computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, AutoCAD).
-Experience with Maintenance software packages.
