Home Instead Senior Care is looking for compassionate individuals who want to become a part of our team and join in our mission of enhancing the lives of seniors.  Our team of CAREGivers assist seniors in our community with a variety of services and help them remain independent in their familiar surroundings.

As a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care, you will:
&bull Provide Companionship, Home Helper Services and Personal Care which could include:
o Companionship and conversation
o Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
o Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
o Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders
o Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
o Washing and ironing laundry
o Running errands
o Accompanying clients to appointments
o Assisting with bathing, grooming and dressing
o Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
o Alzheimer's Care

*No previous experience necessary &ndash skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*
This is an On-Call, As Needed and Intermittent Employment Only

Essential Job Requirements:
&bull Ability to speak and hear English clearly in person and on the telephone
&bull Ability to read and write English
&bull Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
&bull Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach
&bull Ability to consistently provide physical assistance to a client (i.e. stand-by assistance while walking, assist client with transfers)
&bull Complete a satisfactory criminal background check, DMV check, pre-employment drug screen
&bull Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
&bull Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
&bull Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
&bull Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
