Job Description – Training and Development Specialist
The Training and Development Specialist executes the Mission, Vision and Values of the PrideStaff System as well as the strategic plan of the company and the Training and Development department through PrideStaff University. The Specialist will analyze, design, develop, implement, and execute new learning interventions through Instructor-led training (ILT), E-learning, Webinars, Virtual Instructor-led training (VILT), and other mediums as required.

- Reports to: Vice President-Learning and System Support
The Training and Development Specialist executes the Mission, Vision and Values of the PrideStaff System as well as the strategic plan of the company and the Training and Development department through PrideStaff University. The Specialist will analyze, design, develop, implement, and execute new learning interventions through Instructor-led training (ILT), E-learning, Webinars, Virtual Instructor-led training (VILT), and other mediums as required.
Essential functions:
- Deliver our Mission through PrideStaff University.
- Reinforce Emotional Branding through PrideStaff University.
- Execute training delivery.
- Present learning content.
- Author learning content.
- Instructional analysis, design, development, implementation and revision of ILT, VILT, or E-learning courses.
- Create a positive customer experience from the individual contributor level to the Strategic-Partner level to the Executive level.
- Execute the use of PrideStaff’s Learning Management System (LMS).
- Develop, produce, and revise LMS courseware.
- Develop, produce and revise learning videos, either pre or post production.
- Conduct webinars.
- Manage programs from time to time.
- Manage a budget as required.
- A minimum of five years’ experience as an instructor/facilitator in a business environment.
- Staffing Industry experience is preferred, yet will look at other industries.
- Experience in delivering training interventions in one or more of the following functional areas: leadership, human resources, sales, or management science.
- Understand and use e-Learning
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent facilitation and instructional skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Create, edit, or revise operating system manuals.
- Create, edit, or revise instructor notes for Instructor-led or virtual instructor-led training.
- Travel in the field required from time to time.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
