Job Description

Brief:

The c-store cashier is responsible for processing all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be neat in appearance, highly accountable with good communication skills and able to thrive in a high paced environment.

Responsibilities:

May include, but are not limited to:

·       Greet guests as they enter the c-store

·       Process transactions as requested by c-store guests

·       Maintain accountability of all company assets throughout a scheduled shift

o   Submit required paperwork / support documents at the end of a scheduled shift

·       Maintain a clean and organized work environment

·       Resolve issues as needed in accordance with established policies and procedures

·       Proactively communicate with management on any and all issues affecting casino business both positively and negatively

·       General cleaning and maintenance

Requirements:

May include, but are not limited to:

·       Prior customer service and/or cash handling experience preferred

·       Basic math and computer skills

·       Ability to work unsupervised for varying lengths of time

·       Ability to work standing up for extended periods of time

·       Must be able to pass drug and background tests

·       Must be able to obtain Louisiana Responsible Vendor permit
