Purchasing Clerk

Job Description: As the Purchasing Clerk you will be tasked with the following daily but not limited to:
  • Prepare purchase orders
  • Administer the purchasing system
  • Utilize purchasing system for procurement of products
  • Work with resellers to maintain viable relationships
  • Verify packing slips with PO’s and invoices
  • Return defective equipment to manufactures and vendors for replacement or new purchase
  • Maintain product listing, with price and cost information
  • Maintain manufacturer relationships and contracts
  • Coordinate daily deliveries
  • Enter all work as activities or service tickets into system

Job Requirements:
  • 3+ years’ experience in procurement or purchasing
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Typing 50 WPM
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills

Compensation:

Procurement Clerks typically receive compensation based on experience and skillset in the range of $14-16/hr
