Job Description

Looking for a driven and motivated head manager to assist the General Manager in running operation for a chain of car washes. We are looking for a long term employee who wants to grow with the company.

 

Job duties

  • Set policies, operations, create and maintain budgets
  • coordinate with management in the company to evaluate employees, company performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee operations of 9 car wash locations
  • Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountability; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities.
  • Assists and coordinates activities of managers and district managers engaged in managing washing and polishing automobiles and performing related services in automatic car wash: Inventories supplies, such as detergents, brushes, and tire-blacking compound, controlling and placing chemicals etc.
  • Insure the creation and implementation of a strategy designed to grow the business.
  • Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports.
  • Provide direct management of key functional managers in the business.
  • Insure overall delivery and quality to customers.
  • Train and assist personnel engaged in polishing and washing automobiles or parts of vehicles not washed by automatic mechanism.
  • Train and assist district managers on bank deposits, cash pick-ups from location with authorization.
  • Train and assist district managers with parts & order pick-ups.
  • Train managers on keeping records of daily receipts, employee time and wage data, and supplies used.
  • Train managers on washing, polishing, and performance of other services during peak periods or short staff.
  • Train and assist with staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employee; maintaining a safe, secure and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities. Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Train managers with establishing strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
  • Train managers on maintaining employee work schedules including assignments, job rotation, training time-off and, coverage for absenteeism, necessary adjustments in staffing due to weather conditions. In the event the manager does not have the necessary coverage for the location for any position it is the manager’s responsibility to ensure the location is fully staffed each day and to make coverage for the location for any position it is the manager’s responsibility to find coverage or cover the shift. If a manager is not available, the Assistant Manager or Supervisor/Head Manager steps in to provide assistance and maintain the location.
  • Train and assist managers with managing multiple units of Fast Splash company, prepare reports and maintains budgets.
  • Participate in business development; ensure high customer and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure inventory is stocked and consistently replenished.
  • Promote company’s mission and values, responsible driving at all times.
