Manufacturing Purchasing Buyer

Responsible for supply planning and the management of purchases consistent with company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Validate suppliers and negotiate purchase agreements
• Maintain excellent working relationships with suppliers in order to address issues quickly
• Manage purchases and maintain excellent records
• Develop control systems and reports to monitor and track key purchasing KPI's
• Work closely with production, sales, finance and other teams to drive efficiency imporvements and cost savings

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 5 year of experience in a manufacturing or MRO environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
• Strong analytical, organization and negotiation skills
• Able to problem solve and multitask
• Computer literate, with experience with MS office required and SAP
• Strong oral and written communication, team building and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and possess a high degree of integrity and sence of urgency
