Minooka, IL - Macy's Logistics: Housekeeping Associate, Full & Part Time - Full-time / Part-time

Job Overview:

Cleaning the facility common areas, offices and restrooms. Cardboard, plastic and styrofoam recycling to support material processing. Other related duties as needed. This is an opportunity to learn an additional skill set that plays a key role in our sustainability efforts.

Essential Functions:

• Follow all Operating Procedures and Safety Guidelines.
• Flex between work areas throughout the week as the business need dictates.
• Basic housekeeping duties, including but not limited to pulling trash, sweeping and mopping.
• Operate balers, compactors and floor sweeper
• Partner with Strip Dock team in the movement of recyclables.
• Perform other related duties, special projects or assignments as required
• Safety Conscious
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively.

• Ability to understand and communicate with all associates and managers
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Previous Housekeeping experience a plus

Communication Skills

• Must be able to follow instructions and respond in English

Mathematical Skills

• Adds, subtracts, divides and multiplies in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
