Truck body manufacturer is recruiting employees to install low voltage wiring, transformers and accessories. This position installs lights, interior lighting, and other electrical components in new specialty truck bodies such as fire trucks, ambulances, cherry pickers, etc.
Our client manufactures specialty custom truck bodies to order for commercial customers.
Modern, clean shop - Great work environment
First Shift: M-F 6 AM - 2:30 PM with some overtime.
$12.00 to $14.00 / hour DOE
Recent tech school grads are encouraged to apply.

Job Description:
Install new equipment by installing wiring and conduit to equipment using hand tools and test equipment.
- Inspect vehicles after installation
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and test systems is a PLUS
- Repair and replace electrical components using test equipment and hand tools.
- Install relays, switches, motors, circuit boards, etc.
- Automotive experience a PLUS
- Experience running and installing wiring
- Ability to use basic hand tools along with good general mechanical aptitude,
- Ability to use measuring tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to follow manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications
- Experience installing basic electrical components (generators, lights, switches, relays, etc).Work timely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems
- Must have good work ethic, be on time and work Overtime when needed
