The Quality organization is currently seeking a highly skilled, solutions-oriented Senior Manager -Yard Management to join the Quality team in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Job Description:
- Manage and oversee Yard Management and PRI activities in NAFTA
- Manage department of 10 direct reports and Yard Management service providers
- Provide accurate and timely reports
- Responsible for vehicle repair and associated expense budgets
- Management of cost recovery associated with yard holds
- Management of vehicle inspections, repairs and validations at multiple facilities
- Provide a weekly Yard Management Update at the Enabler Meeting
- Provide and present monthly forecasts
- Lead and direct PRI conference calls
- Work with Purchasing to select Yard Management providers USA/CDA and Mexican
- Other duties as assigned to support regulatory activities and corporate audits
