Mechanical Assembly II (Mid Level)

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Mechanical Assembly II for an Mid Level contract opportunity in New London, OH with our partner, an engineering and plant construction company for clients in the metals industry.

As a Mechanical Assembler II , you will:

• Assemble component parts, sub-assemblies or completed units. Includes electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, structural products, instrument, and plastic parts assembly.
• Use hand tools, small power tools and other special equipment.
• Receive detailed written and verbal instructions on all work.
• Read and interpret blue prints.
• Inspect incoming equipment to determine maintenance required.
• May drive a truck, crane, or forklift.
• Other work may be assigned at Management’s direction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School or Equivalent
• Two (2) to three years (3) of related work experience
• Certifications: Crane/Forklift. In house training provided to obtained certification.
• Driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arms length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Additional Information:

• This is a 9 month contract position
• 40 Hours per week
