Job Title: Administrative Director Reports to: President EOE POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for the overall management of the company to optimize patient care, physician productivity and company profitability. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Provide oversight and management of company operations. • Assist the physicians with strategic planning • Manage the billing department, direct insurance company interactions, insure coding compliance, implement strategies for optimal collections • Negotiate insurance company contracts and lease agreements • Assist in recruiting and orienting new physicians • Mentor and consult with office manager and lab management • Manage the finances of the company (accounting, payroll, and banking). Analyze month end and year end results and produces statements and reports • Evaluate information systems and coordinate implementation • Human resources/benefits administration; assist in solving high level personnel problems • Oversee the office and lab managers in the fair enforcement of personnel policies ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Budget for and direct capital improvement projects as needed • External relationship management (patients, outside healthcare providers, vendors) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Comprehensive knowledge of medical best practices, as well as a thorough knowledge of industry compliance and incentive programs (MIPS, PCMH, etc.) • Excellent presentation, negotiation, organizational and implementation skills • Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills • Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities with strong teambuilding and employee relations skills • Strong financial and computer skills; proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft software (Word, Excel), electronic health records and practice management software EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Master’s degree in business, health care administration or health informatics • Accounting or finance background preferred • At least five years medical office management experience required BENEFITS • Health insurance, dental insurance, life and long term disability insurance, long term care insurance, 401(k) profit sharing plan; generous leave accrual
