Position Summary

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the Sales and Marketing Assistant supports sales and marketing in the execution of marketing and sales tools and facilitation of reporting and communication of information. He/she assists the Sales and Marketing manager in preparing sales presentations, communications with inside and outside sales reps, sales data and updating Salesforce and PLM project tracker and PLM data base. This position is an integral part of the company’s internal sales and marketing team.

Direct Responsibilities

  • Update PLM for all projects, add new projects and maintain the product/copy data bank
  • Update Salesforce for all projects/tasks for customer interactions and meetings
  • Track all calendars on a daily basis, follow up as required
  • Assist Sales and Marketing Manager in developing marketing materials, including sell sheets, price lists, brochures, etc.
  • Prepare packaging briefs
  • Track and manage photography
  • Develop a thorough knowledge and become an expert in all product categories and brands
  • Prepare presentations for customer meetings, sales promotions, inventory selling tools
  • Prepare reports on sales by brand, channel and category by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data; prepare status reports on sales and marketing efforts.
  • Organize the preparation of proposals and presentations using marketing and sales resource materials such as sell sheets, price lists, photographs, and reports.
  • Coordinate event participation for trade shows.
  • Support all marketing activities for PR and social media, including samples, analysis of activity, suggestions for product selections, etc
  • Pull photography for all customer requests and size accordingly

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, communications or business preferred
  • 0-3 years of experience
