Aviation School Assistant - Part-time

To apply for this position, you must have a valid Oregon driver license, hold at least a PRIVATE PILOT SEL FAA Certificate with a current flight review or equivalent, and a current FAA medical.

Must be available to work weekends (Saturday).
Duties include:
Aircraft fueling, washing, and detailing;
Meeting customers and answering telephone;
Proctoring of FAA Knowledge tests
Moving or re-positioning aircraft
Parts sorting and organization;
Flight simulator oversight and assisting customers with simulator operations;
Office and hangar cleaning;
Other duties as assigned;
Required skills, knowledge, and working conditions:
Capable of working outside in all weather conditions, in hangars,  and on airport ramps with little or no supervision;
Pilot certificate SEL (minimum), FAA medical, current flight review or equivalent.
Knowledge of aircraft handling and fueling procedures;
Good time-management skills;
Office skills and knowledge: MS Word, Excel, and other Windows and MAC operating systems;
Excellent people and customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a good sense of humor a must;
