Employment & Wage Verification Customer Support Specialist
POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The job of the Employment & Wage Verification Customer Support Specialist is to answer all incoming calls for the EWV Department. This individual will be responsible for taking care of client needs as it relates to offering Wage Verifications information to the applicable State Agency. The EWV Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for providing clients with resolution on all issues that relate to their Wage Verifications to ensure verifications are done in a timely manner. This individual should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within their job role. They must have the ability to take initiative and work independently with little supervision as well as work well with varying levels of internal management staff while maintaining positive working relationships with clients, peers and other team members. This role reports directly to the Director of Employment & Wage Verification.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION
Receive incoming calls from the Wage Queue
Complete Request/Correction slips in their entirety
Return calls to verifiers as needed for requests
Complete governmental requests by date received
Obtain pertinent information from customer base via phone/email to provide to Clerical Support team
Respond to any voicemails received

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 1 year working in an Administrative position preferred but not required

    **10am - 7pm Shift, Monday-Friday**
