Experienced Site Manager | Automotive Operations

Position summary:
Management of all operational and administrative aspects of company operations at their assigned plant, while maintaining and/or exceeding the expected safety performance and profit levels required. Serve as liaison between the company and the customer to ensure compliance with mutual goals, objectives and priorities.

Educational requirements:
High School Diploma required.  Two (2) year technical degree preferred.

Skills and experience:

• 5 year’s experience in the automotive assembly process/environment.  
• Knowledge of specialty equipment and applications.
• Experience in working with the terms/conditions of customer account contract(s).
• Prefer automotive paint application experience. 
• Experienced in managing a 24/7 operation
• Experienced in managing a UAW workforce.
• Excellent written and oral communications/computer literate.
• Excellent problem-solving/relationship- building skills.

• Build/maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Plan, organize and execute daily maintenance/project work.
• Manage/promote Company’s purpose/priorities, while following Company’s procedures and processes.
• Ensure optimal utilization of operational resources.
• Leverage technology/automation expertise/capability.

Physical demands:

• Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach and move about the facility.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs.
• Must be capable of working 12-16 hour shifts.
