General Production Worker - Full-time / Part-time

County Materials is a manufacture of precast concrete. Precast is the casting and finishing of concrete slabs, before placing in position. This position is not going to be the same thing every day and people will be asked to move around into multiple departments.

This person who chooses this profession will responsible for performing general duties to help create pre-fabricated concrete walls and structures. These people will be responsible for doing some castings and finishing of concrete, and will also be doing mixing and moving of concrete. This person is mostly going to be doing general labor work and not specialize concrete duties. They will most likely start in the Hallow Core area when they are going to be working with sanitary holes and working with rebar. This is a very repetitious position off the get go. They are going to be working with pre stressed cable to make the molds. They will be growting, detailing and unbolting clamps.

Another area they will be working with is the grutal line. They are going to be reading specific specs which they will teach. They are going to have to be able to read a tape measure in this area and hand tie cable together. They are going to be doing basic concrete tasks to finish off the molds.

At any time a candidate doesn't know what to do, they are expected to grab a broom and clean the facility. It was stated that nobody will ever get in trouble for not knowing what to do next and cleaning the facility. This is a character piece as well, if you are not sure then find the lead or put a broom in your hand. Hard work gets noticed at this facility and they will direct you when you are don't know what to do.
