Pharmaceutical Warehouse Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Position: Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is accountable for all receiving, shipping, and warehousing functions at the warehouse. This includes ensuring supply and efficient flow of materials between Manufacturing & Packaging and the warehouse, managing permits, HAZMAT compliance, international shipping and documentation, ocean vessel shipping, ensuring accurate inventory via SAP, and driving & measuring performance in a continuous improvement environment. This also includes maintaining equipment and facilities as appropriate for a GMP environment.
* Lead shipping, receiving and warehousing, including cold chain within cGMP guidelines
* Lead execution of raw material and finished good sampling
* Author deviations, change controls, and standard operating procedures within company systems
* Capable of performing, monitoring, and resolving all SAP transactions supporting department
* Ensure a superior level of accuracy and traceability utilizing the inventory management system
* Develop and maintain metrics
* Provide performance reviews to direct reports; counsels and disciplines under-performing employees
* Author, approve, and implement SOPs, change controls, and non-conformances
* Ensure compliance with site regulatory and cGMP guidelines as well as company policies
* Builds and maintains costs to budget, rationalizing headcount for department
* Interface with 3rd party contract labor support communicating performance and hourly tracking
* Develop warehouse budget
* Investigating and resolving problems, and identifying and implementing process improvements
* Responsible for managing the training and development of personnel
* The manager is responsible for interfacing and relationship development with support departments (QC, QA, Facilities, Development, etc) to assure production goals are met
* Expert knowledge of electronic quality systems
* Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Qualifications:

• BS/ BA Degree is required
• 3+ years of prior supervisory (needs experience leading supervisors) is required
• 1+ years of previous work experience in GMP warehouse is required
• 5+ years of experience in GMP commercial pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacture is required
• Strong Warehouse Management System experience using SAP or other ERP systems is required
• 7 years supervision of non-exempt level employees is preferred
• Green Belt certification or an equivalent Lean Enterprise certification is preferred
• DOT and IATA certification (HAZMAT shipping preparation) is preferred
• Certified Forklift trainer is preferred
• Hazardous waste management experience (spill containment) is preferred
• Cold chain management experience is preferred
