Training is 2-4 weeks and is on 6-2:30 Orientation is 8-4:30
The purpose of this job is to be responsible for the preparation of truck, processing all shipping paperwork and arranging truck lines.
What you will be doing:
Pack materials for shipping. Process shipping paperwork for orders as well as outside machining. Load and Unload trucks. Prepare bill of landings. Call truck lines for pick up as needed. Drive forklift to pick up material.
Ensure shipping and receiving department complies with corporate quality manual and continuously work to reduce non-conformances. Responsible for completeness and organization of shipping paperwork. Filing and organizing. Responsible in visibly inspect all skid prior of shipping to ensure that material are package, band, stock correctly to avoid from skid to fall apart in transit to its final destination in order to reduce and eventually eliminate customer complaints.
Ensure all equipment and vehicles (forklifts, side loader) is cleaned and maintained on a regular basis to reduce unplanned equipment failures. Housekeeping; keep work area clean and safe; ensure all safety standards are followed and observed.
Prepare open orders report daily and assure work orders that are completed are processed true shipping and scheduled to be shipped to improve on-time delivery to a satisfactory levels of 97%.
