Carmella's is looking for a hard working, committed, upbeat individual to split management duties between two facilities in Charleston. The first is the offsite kitchen located in West Ashley and the second is the dessert bar located downtown.
Position Pays: $45k base a year plus benefits, performance bonuses, and tipped shifts. 45k-65k a year potential.
Having back of house and front of house experience is recommended, but not required.
Duties include:
1) Upholding and assisting in all levels of service in the downtown facility.
2) Ensuring the product quality at both locations in terms of taste, presentation, and proper storage.
3) Maintaining cleaning and sanitation requirements at both facilities with assistance from the staff.
4) Handling product, service, and tech vendors to make sure all of the equipment and delivery trucks are in good working order and the deliveries are correct and complete; Also that the building is in safe working shape and the staff has all required tools to do their jobs.
The AGM will also be assisting GM in handling all payroll and HR issues and duties; including hiring and firing, payroll costing, insurance, and scheduling. This will also include regular inventory and food and bar item costing.
The AGM will demonstrate that they are: detail oriented, committed to excellence, have a love of the job and industry, open to learning new things, committed to being their best everyday, and a creative problem solver.
