Stocking/Receiving Supervisor - Full-time

Specifically we are seeking a Full Time, Receiving/Stocking Supervisor position in our Fredericksburg, VA store.  This positions requires a flexible schedule to include Early Mornings (as early as 4am on stocking days), days, some weekends, and holidays. The responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting the regular receiving, merchandising, regular unload of trucks, ticketing of merchandiseock rooim, acheivement of productivity goals, and associate training etc.

• Upholding company policy and procedures including safety and operation standards, partners with Store Manager or designate to address associates and operating issues and problems in a timely manner: monitors associates work and provides appropriate feedback and direction as necessary.

• Acknowledging customers in a courteous, respectful manner, promptly and politely responds to customers inquiries and customer requests for support.

• Directing and preparing fixtures as needed to enable execution of stocking plans and presentation standards; deploys and uses step/ stools/ladders, processing carts, and other stocking and safety equipment as required.

• Directing and completing the return of misplaced product, customer returns and other product gathered in the front-end to the correct location in the store.

• Overseeing and performing stocking activities following established stocking priorities, stocking standards and stocking plans.

• Directing and executing the organization and straightening of merchandise areas on the sales floor; ensures and executes replenishment of shelf stock from overhead valences and display shelves.

• Guiding and participating in the retrieval and preparation of merchandise for stocking; upholds and executes case cutting, price label and price verification requirement; ensures and executes removal of product from packaging and affixing pricing labels/stickers as needed, directs and ensures the preparation of merchandise for stocking on applicable fixtures; coordinates and performs the removal of related disposal of related cardboard and trash.

• Upholding housekeeping standards throughout the facility.

• Monitoring building security’ promoting and upholding associate safety and provides emergency response as needed.

• Supporting and facilitating training and development of associates, may support truck unload and merchandise ticketing.
