Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As MOD (Manager on Duty), Sales Supervisor is responsible for the following:
  • Communicates daily goals and provides training, coaching and feedback to sales associates
  • Ensures sales associates are utilizing appropriate sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers and maintaining client books.
  • Process customer sales, returns, charge send transactions utilizing POS system. Completes appropriate LXR / DSW paperwork in timely manner.
  • Ensure sales associates are explaining the DSW Rewards program and its benefits to customers. Verifies / updates email and mailing address of existing Rewards Members to ensure correct data is on file.
  • Ensures LXR department is neat, clean, and organized at all times.
  • Follows all Loss Prevention policies and procedures. Ensures all applicable audits and reporting are completed thoroughly and accurately.
  • Processes LXR inventory shipments / returns
  • Actively participate in store meetings and training sessions with DSW and LXR
  • Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Minimum of 1 year retail supervisor / management experience with proven ability to drive sales and meet performance objectives
  • Outstanding customer service and selling skills
  • Commitment to building customer relationships and loyalty through personal interaction and the maintenance of a client book / customer file
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate behaviors that align with DSW values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Humility.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends is required
