Discover Credit Operations is hiring! Our Acquisitions department is looking for Temporary, Customer Service Representatives. This position starts on May 21st 2018. The starting pay is $15.25 an hour!

Looking for a great opportunity to work with a Fortune 500 company for the summer? Look no further! We are looking for summer seasonal temps to assist our Credit Operations department. 

In this role, your primary function will be assisting customers with submitting applications for our credit card products. During the application process, it is critical to handle the customers personal information with sensitivity and confidentiality. Data entry accuracy when entering the customers personal information into our secure database is also critical. In this role, our employees will ensure the company is compliant and mitigates risk by reviewing and educating customers of relevant policies, procedures, regulations and legal disclosures.

Key Responsibilities

Answer calls from customers and determine the reason for the telephone call

1.       Take applications from customers who would like to apply via the telephone

2.       Keep a pleasant disposition during adversity

3.       Ability to read and interpret information

4.       Ability to read information from a script verbatim (include one of the disclosures for them to read in the interview)

5.       Ability to clearly relay information to the customer about the offer/card they are applying for

6.       Excellent oral and written communication skills.

7.       Must be detailed oriented.

8.       Able to successfully prioritize and multi-task.

9.       Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.

10.    Answer calls from customers and determine the reason for the telephone call

11.    Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
