We arew actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Finance Analyst for immediate employment for the Honolulu, HI office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
* Provide financial oversight and support on a moderate risk, moderate volume portfolio with multiple projects
* Engage in regular meetings with project managers and/or project delivery teams on the status of projects
* Participate in project review preparation, execution, and follow up
* Assist Project Manager regularly with project setup, project monitoring, system updating and closeout
* Ensure all incurred costs are reflected accurately and in a timely manner on the project
* Assist project manager with the preparation and update of the EAC (Estimate at Complete) for all active projects
* Ensure that financial reporting for pending change orders are reflected correctly in system. Ensure that the current budget reflects approved as‐sold contract margin plus all client approved changes
* Work proactively with project managers to monitor and correct project financial issues
* Perform project analysis and prepare reports upon request for management review
* Understand month end events to ensure they are prepared completely and processed accurately and timely
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
* 5+ years' experience
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency
* Strong verbal/written communication skills required as jobs may require supporting Project Managers across the Region
Preferred Qualifications
* Completion of, or in pursuit of, professional designation in Accounting, Finance, or Business
* Experience with project costing methodologies for project pursuits and proposals
* Experience using Oracle is desirable
* Architecture/Engineering industry and/or government contracting experience is preferred
