Tool and Die Maker - Full-time / Part-time

Tool and Die Maker
Global Auto Parts Manufacturing looking to partner with a dedicated Tool and Die Maker. Our customer supports major automotive manufactures by producing quality parts that go into the cars we drive everyday

Duties include:

Repair and maintain a wide variety of complex fixture, tooling, gauges, dies, test stands and specialized machine tools to maximize production performance.
Operate and test machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to used shape parts to specified dimensions and finishes.
File, grind, shim and adjust different parts to properly fit them together.
Perform routine preventative maintenance, such as lubrication, cleaning, sharpening, and replacement of worn parts.

Requirements include:

Must have prior Tool and Die maker experience
Must be able to speak and read basic English to comply with positions
Safety experience in a plant familiar with all PPE procedures & requirements
Must be willing to cross train
Must be able to work required overtime
Must comply with attendance and punctuality policy
Must be able to lift 10 to 15 lbs. continuously
Pre-screening testing is required
High school diploma or equivalent required
