About this job

* Maintains valid master production schedules within a firmed planned horizon for the assigned manufacturing site or resource. A valid schedule is defined as an achievable requirement for the product, a reliable promise completion date and sufficient available capacity to produce the scheduled items.
* Responds timely to action/exception messages from the JobBoss system in order to maintain valid, stable and realistic production schedules.
* Creates and maintains a firm master production schedule considering Finished Goods (FG's) and Intermediate Goods (IG's) and contracted or outsourced services.
* Interfaces with Manufacturing Team and the Project Team as needed to mitigate bottlenecks, downtime, and resource capacity rate fluctuations.
o Develops and provides IG and FG production options
o Manages the Master Production Schedule to support changes in demand or supply.
o Communicates between the Manufacturing Manager, Shop Supervisor and Planners as required and ensures supply issues are resolved due to manufacturing or supplier issues.
* Identifies and assists to resolve conflicts with supply and demand, and availability of capacity.
* Establishes and communicates stable and valid master schedules to Manufacturing.
* Utilizes "what-if" simulations to evaluate proposed Master Production Schedule changes to determine the impact on resources, capacity, parts, as well as material availability.
* Participates with Operations in creating the primary or alternate routings to support the planning and manufacturing process with consideration to resource allocation and capacity.
